GLOSSOP U 3 A
Glossop U3A held their end of season round robin competition on the 27th September. On a lovely sunny day the members played the preliminary rounds before a buffet lunch. Following the semi-finals Andrea Mays and Irene Goodwyn battled it out for the trophy. Andrea won 21 to 14 and was presented with the winners plate by John Stevenson.
The group play every Tuesday morning during the season and for anyone interested in taking up bowling this is a very good way to start.
