Glossop Bowling Club

There has been a crown green bowling club on this site for over 100 years. We share the ground with Glossop Cricket Club and have the benefit of a modern club house, function room, bar and large car park.

Currently we field eight teams playing in local leagues during the day as well as in the evenings under floodlights. Throughout the season we hold club tournaments involving individual men and ladies, and also pairs and mixed pairs.

We host matches and tournaments for other clubs who enjoy the benifit of our bar and catering facilities. We also hold an open competition at the end of the season which attracts the top bolwers in the north west who play for a large cash prize

We are always looking for new members to join us - with or without experience - either as social members or to join one of our teams.
